FIN-FYFA – Financial Foundations for Young Female Athletes

The first training session took place on 2 June, in an online format, with a duration of 2 hours. The activity was organised in cooperation with the Jamor High Performance Center in Portugal, aiming to involve track and field athletes based there. Although initial interest was high, due to an unforeseen official ceremony attended by government representatives, several participants were unable to fully attend the session. Despite these challenges, the training provided valuable insights for improving the organisation of future online activities.

The second training session was held on 9 June, in person, at a vocational school in Lisbon, lasting 3 hours. A total of 14 female and 3 male participants attended, and the activity was integrated into the school schedule with the support of the teaching staff. The session was highly successful, with strong engagement and very positive feedback from participants. At their request, a follow-up session is planned for the beginning of the next school year. These activities contribute to strengthening the knowledge and skills of young athletes, while encouraging their active participation in educational and personal development processes.
